Martin Feveyear is currently busy being downright notorious in the Pacific Northwest as a music producer and mixer armed with a confident production style. Martin brings a variety of skills and over 20 years of past experience to his work — including production, engineering, arranging, mixing and mastering — to help bands and songwriters be more comfortable and creative in the recording studio. Martin is no new face in the music world; his talents are evident throughout his diverse and wide-ranging discography. Martin began his career in his native England as a singer/songwriter and musician. While making several recordings with his own bands, he progressed to recording work in Europe for many U.K. and U.S. artists. At the age of 25, he came to Seattle with the Screaming Trees, and quickly became part of the thriving local music scene, working with artists such as Mudhoney, the Screaming Trees, Tad, Mark Lanegan, the Presidents of the United States of America, Rosie Thomas, The Ruby Doe, Super Deluxe and Sister Psychic. Martin's work for these artists brought further demand for his production work and record mixing skills, and in 1996 he teamed up with Christian Fulghum (former bass player for Sister Psychic) and opened Jupiter Studios, a full-service SSL/24 track analogue/Pro-Tools HD facility that has found itself bustling along in the beautiful Wallingford district of Seattle. Jupiter Studios has become Martin's home base, as his recording and mixing projects continue to visit many genres of music and type of musician from quiet local favorites to familiar international rock stars. Mixing, mastering, and producing endeavours have taken Martin around the world and into television, radio, and movies. If you are looking for a producer or your mix/mastering project is lacking energy and needs that special "something" please feel free to contact Martin.
